President-elect Donald Trump and tech billionaire Elon Musk’s bizarre bromance continued on New Year’s Eve when the two were caught on camera doing a cringe-inducing dance that had the internet reading them for filth!
On January 31, Trump and Musk rang in the New Year at a black tie party at Mar-a-Lago, and while the two looked silly in their party attire, the single best moment at this otherwise self-indulgent who’s who of the worst conservative Republicans was when the pair danced like broken animatronic robots.
Trump is no stranger to making a fool of himself while dancing in front of a crowd, and has been roasted countless times for his odd hand-jerking dance that social media commenters have said looks like he’s giving a double-fisted handy — and who are we to argue with that description? Musk has also been known to make cringe-worthy choices that the internet will never forget, like when he jumped around on stage like a weirdo at a Trump rally.
This time, the two men are dancing together, with Trump doing his “signature” move and Musk copying him. Luckily for us, video footage of their little dance party went viral on X (formerly Twitter), with everyone making fun of them for looking like “dorks” and “malfunctioning Chuck E. Cheese animatronics.” Other people are still surprised by Trump’s seeming undying love for dancing to "YMCA" despite it being “written by a bunch of gay men.” And, of course, the conservative side of X is whining that “the libs” just don’t want anyone to have any fun anymore.
