"Hi y’all. Tonight’s show was so fun, but someone grabbed my ass during [the] meet-and-greet before the show,” the text reads. "I’m going to continue them because one person shouldn’t ruin it for everyone, but please know I’m there to connect, share, hug, all the things, but please don’t override someone’s personal space. Love you.”
The singer, who is touring her most recent album Dreamsicle which came out in May, came out as bisexual during a performance in Phoenix, Arizona during Pride month last year following her split from her ex-husband, Ryan Hurd. She shared a now-deleted post to her Instagram, which she captioned, "Happy to be the B in LGBTQ+, happy pride."
As one of the Out 100 honorees last year, Morris reflected on her bisexual identity and the experience of coming out. "I don’t know if I’d consider it an accomplishment but it’s certainly something I’m proud of; coming out publicly," she said at the time. "It was sort of the last domino of me holding my true self back. You can say it to yourself for decades but saying it to the world is a choice. I just didn’t want any piece of myself locked in a corridor."
She said she did a lot of work to "reset a lot of 'comfortable' elements [her] my life that were getting very stale the last few years." Morris continued, " I feel like the whole world was getting shaken up around me and I was desperately trying to clamp down on the few things I felt I had control of instead of just letting the world change me for the better and not fighting the nature of things."
