During his ascension as one of the biggest popstars of our time, Shawn Mendes has become a bonafide Hollywood heartthrob and thirst trap king on social media. Since breaking up with Camila Cabello in late 2021, Mendes somehow managed to improve his thirst trap game even further.
Having released four studio albums – 2015’s Handwritten, 2016’s Illuminate, 2018’s Shawn Mendes, and 2020’s Wonder – Mendes is best known for hit songs like “Stitches,” “Treat You Better,” “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back,” “If I Can’t Have You,” “Señorita,” and “Monster.” The singer also has over 71 million followers on Instagram, which solidifies his incredible popularity among music fans.
In 2022, Mendes had to interrupt (and ultimately cancel) his remaining dates on Wonder: The World Tour due to mental health issues. Since then, though, the popstar has been bouncing back with a lot more optimism, confidence, and self-assurance shown on social media.
Fans are obviously very happy that the “It’ll Be Okay” singer is doing better, and it’s also always a treat when Mendes takes his shirt off to pose for a few pictures that end up online. Recently, a shirtless Mendes showed off his “farmer’s tan” in new photos... breaking the internet once again.
